Polymotion Chat For Large Installations
One of the lesser-known features of MRMC’s Polymotion Chat automated tracking system is the ability to daisy-chain multiple systems together for large infrastructure installations.

Game-changing solution for multi-camera productions
When we first introduced Polymotion Chat, we knew the idea of talent tracking software was new and we suspected that customers would want to use third-party cameras, so we set up a consultation initiative with a panel of experts and potential users and asked them their opinion. A number of these experts were from customers that made reality TV shows or observational documentaries and they pointed out that this could be a game-changing solution for them but they would require the ability to control many more heads than we originally could do (possibly in excess of 150 PTZ or pan tilt robotic heads).
We have kept talking to this group and using them for future development and beta testing.

Polymotion Chat is Now Ready for Large Systems
The most recent version of MRMC’s PolymotionChat (version 3.0) now enables you to connect multiple servers together while separating the control interface, allowing the systems to be installed on location (which is critical for low latency talent tracking) and the control software to be located remotely.
This makes operating large projects extremely easy and also very cost-effective. This configuration is also ideal for education and large corporate installations where a customer may want to control many cameras. Each server can support a maximum of 10 heads and an unlimited number servers can be connected together.

Driven By Powerful Software
With Polymotion Chat being based on MRMC’s MHC (Multi Head Controller) it’s possible to have custom interfaces or use our API to enable control from 3rd party systems making this a very flexible solution for AV projects looking to move away from auto tracking PTZ cameras.
Our software platform is designed for complete user simplicity. Control a multitude of MRMC or 3rd party robotic heads at the touch of a button from a single workstation, with an extremely simple, intuitive UI.
