The Mark Roberts team invents the milo and its influence becomes unprecedented within the film & tv industry.

FIRST USE OF FLAIR

Cyclops lands at Cell Animation, running the first Flair.

1999

MILO WINS ACADEMY AWARD

The Prestigious Academy award for Scientific & Engineering achievement is presented to Ronan Carroll, Assaff Rawner, Paul Bartlett and Simon Wakley for the creation of the Milo Motion-Control Crane.

2008

RENTALS DIVISION CREATED

With just one Milo and a Modula running from the corner of the factory, Mrmoco Rentals began its journey.

2012

BOLT IS BORN

Producing the world’s fastest high speed motion control rig and in turn re-invigorating motion control for the entire industry.

2014

Studiobot Hits the Market

The StudioBot is a 9-axis robotics system offering a superior creative range to traditional dolly systems for broadcast studios.

2016

ACQUISITION BY NIKON

After successfully partnering at the 2012 Olympics, Nikon takes a full stake in MRMC seeing robotics as future of imaging.

2017

ROBOTIC POD IS BORN

With the acquisition of MRMC by Nikon, the Robotic Pod is launched for automated image capture, housing a Nikon camera.

QUEENS AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE INTERNATIONAL TRADE

We had the great honour of being awarded the highly prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2017.

Bolt Jr. Makes its debut

The Bolt range grows with its first addition to the high-speed family. Bolt Jr. is a more compact, lighter weight high-speed Cinebot robot ideal for small studio spaces or location work.
