Welcome to MRMC Academy

We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new series, the “MRMC Academy,” your one-stop shop for all things motion control, hosted by the ever-delightful Ben Meyers and his trusty Cinebot Mini.

Starting with the basics and progressively tackling more advanced topics, MRMC Academy is designed for both beginners and moco veterans. Each episode is bite-sized and easy to understand, answering your questions in a clear and accessible format while Ben adds his signature flair (pun intended) to keep the lessons fun and engaging. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy learning more about the wonderful world of motion control!

The first episode, “What is Motion Control?”, is now live! In this debut, Ben introduces the series and covers the fundamentals of moco, including multi/repeat passes, synchronisation, Flair, scaling, slow motion/high-speed, interoperability, stop motion, moving timelapses, and more. While it may seem like a lot, Ben has a knack for making every topic easy to understand, fun, and digestible, ensuring you leave with the confidence to dive into motion control.

If you’re eager to grasp the core principles of motion control, this episode is perfect for you. New episodes will be released every fortnight on Wednesdays, starting from August 21, 2024. The next episode will be another beginner-friendly session, covering the history of MRMC and how our motion control robotics have evolved to set the gold standard in the industry.
