Revisiting The Reimagined Worship Experience at Prestonwood Baptist Church
When Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, set out to upgrade its video system, they weren’t just looking for new cameras; the goal was to reimagine how the worship production could be experienced.
An expansive MRMC camera robotics system sits at the heart of Prestwood’s workflow. We recently got together with Bryan Bailey, Director of Media at Prestonwood Baptist Church, to uncover the “why” behind integrating MRMC’s robotic technology and how it has helped establish a simplified workflow for volunteers, enhance storytelling and engagement, which has helped bring new energy and emotion to an uninterrupted broadcast-level production of the worship environment.
In this part, we’d like to share two episodes of this series where Tom Shelburne (MRMC) and Bryan discuss the thought process behind adopting MRMC robotics and how the TRH Track Robotic Head delivers cinematic, jib-like movements whilst remaining discreet to the congregation.
