Eurovision-Winning JJ's "Wasted Love" Filmed With ATLAS MOCO Bullhead

Did you know that this year’s winning song for the Eurovision Song Contest used the ATLAS MOCO Bullhead Kit? Now you do!

Directed by the talented Vesely Marek, he creatively rigged the motion control system to film JJ’s dynamic and emotionally charged performance in his music video for the song “Wasted Love”, which went on to win the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.

The music video opens with a smooth, slow-moving shot, drawing viewers towards the artist. To capture this, the ATLAS Slider was carefully rigged overhead with a DIY pulley to capture shots at a steep angle. This DIY pulley, held by a truss balanced on two tripods at a higher height, positioned the ATLAS Slider at an angle, mimicking the sweeping shots of a crane with the smooth motion of a slider.

To ensure stable capture, Marek used the Bullhead Studio and automated the movement using the Kairos Controller. The closing shot of the music video used the same setup, with the camera sliding away from the artist towards the end of the song.

What made this setup unique was not just the technical execution but the creative flexibility of this modular slider. The production team rigged the kit in a way that showcased its adaptability, mounted at an elevated height to capture steep shots and present the artist, JJ, with a captivating motion.
