Jägermeister sought a unique brand experience as part of their sponsorship of the Parookaville festival and called upon our creative-partners sharingbox, to bring to life their overarching creative ‘Take a Shot Not a Selfie’. Cue the SHOT-BOT! A truly interactive video solution leveraging Showbolt’s unique value proposition as a customisable camera robot, capable of shooting, editing and sharing cinematic quality content in just a beat.
At sharingbox, we knew that partnering with Showbolt would be a great opportunity. Together, we accomplished the WOW effect at Parookavile, elevating the whole experience for festival-goers visiting Jägermeister. Showbolt was the key to excellence at this event; we were more than pleased with the results of our first European activation together.
Jägermeister’s main goal was to capture the attention of thousands of guests high on summer and great music with rich and memorable brand activation. Showbolt was tasked with raising the quality of organic brand content produced and shared.
Jägermeister’s appointed agency, Pacific, led the ‘Shot Bot’ creative which brought to life key campaign messaging, whilst sharingbox led the event technology brief response using their new Showbolt. Our solution sat at the heart of the activation as a creative and innovative brand experience, where guests were invited to take a shot of Jägermeister in slow motion during their Showbolt capture. The tagline ‘Take a Shot, Not a Selfie’ demonstrated both the brand’s and agency’s understanding that Showbolt was more than just a standard content capture mechanic, it was capable of carrying the creative strategy at this high-profile event.
To ensure seamless delivery, sharingbox delivered the end-to-end experience with a fully trained technician to operate Showbolt and direct guests on the optimal movements for the best final output.
Sharingbox’s active-sharing technology meant that attendees had to simply scan a QR code to receive their exclusive video which was designed in 9:16 to encourage Instagram reel/TikTok sharing. Over the weekend we shot more than 1000 clips, meaning 1000 shots of Jägermeister! Cheers!
