User-Friendly Design and Broad Compatibility
Established in 1987, Production Plan specialises in creating and delivering design, project management, and technical expertise for event production and logistics, from live entertainment, to conferences, business meetings, and exhibitions. Production Plan’s decision to integrate MRMC equipment into their workflow was driven by the need for seamless green screen integration with their Reckeen 3D Studio, and a desire to replace a legacy MRMC system that proved noisy for quieter green screen studio shoots and static interviews.
The upgrade includes MRMC’s AFC-100 robotic head, mounted on a four-meter QRS-1 Quiet Rail System, which delivers unparalleled performance and versatility with superior precision, quietness, and ease of use. The new MRMC system primarily operates on-location at client venues or during live events, focusing on the UK and Europe. Controlled by the video director and operator, the equipment has proven instrumental in improving workflow and securing new opportunities. It has been pivotal in numerous high-profile projects, including the prestigious Nokia conferences in Rome and Athens, dynamic Monster Energy drinks green screen studio shoots and captivating coverage of the Marlow Regatta at the iconic Dorney Olympic Lake.

In addition to the AFC-100 head and the QRS-1 Rail, Production Plan also uses MRMC’s Polymotion Chat Studio, which excels at auto-tracking during long corporate presentations, even when the presenter constantly moves. Production Plan is particularly impressed by the ‘stick figure’ control interface, which makes it easy to monitor the presenter’s framing at a quick glance.
