Cyclops runs on a bearing type rail to provide a superior foundation for studio use for high precision shooting. Cyclops precision bearing track is extremely rigid and accurately aligned for straightness. Mark Roberts Motion Control supply our own linear v-block ball-bearing rail which gives greater stability than any other type of track.
The Cyclops precision bearing track has been specifically designed not to bend or twist during any motion or sudden acceleration or stopping. The track can fully support the Cyclops weight without any perceptible motion so even if the ground is uneven in parts or not fully supporting, the load is well distributed for high accuracy at speed.
The tracks can be supplied in various lengths typically 6-12 meters long. It is also possible to order longer lengths if required.
