New Timecode Reader and Video Inserter Function in Flair

New functionality has been added to the Flair motion control hardware and software that has greatly speeded motion control work on set, and has already been put to excellent use in the US market, with rave reviews.
The Video Inserter option allows Flair to overlay the frame count position onto the video assist monitor, either in frame counts or in seconds and frames. Additionally when the camera and rig are ready to shoot "READY" will be displayed on the monitor. Once running the frame count is displayed no matter which direction you are moving in, forwards or backwards as well as when one browses the move. Its use greatly assists the Director and DoP in speeding up on set adjustments and lighting. For example:
bulletDirector/AD can see when you are ready to shoot instantly.
bulletVery easy to line up passes on video without having to work out where the camera ramped up or try to find a bloop light.
bulletEasy to move to a specific frame count for checking line ups and the Director/AD can see when you are there.
bulletEasy to review playback and the director can make comments about the move and it immediately gives you where in the move it was.  "I think it is too slow at frame 223" or "Make it tilt down more at frame 435"
Additionally, the option has also been created for feeding timecode directly into Flair so that the software can automatically trigger moves at preset points without user intervention or time spent setting an external timecode comparator. Camera ramps are automatically adjusted for and the current timecode as well as the trigger point is shown on screen at all times.
A special limited time offer has been initiated for those users wishing to purchase these options. For more information or a demo please contact info@mrmoco.com.
