The Arri 435 Interface allows the new generation of Arri cameras
to be directly controlled by Flair, the
motion control software.
Using the 435 Interface gives Flair control of the camera speed from 0 to
150FPS, as well as the shutter angle from 11.2 to 180 degrees. It also controls
the optional Integrated Capping Shutter (ICS) of the camera where fitted. This means that
one can achieve any shot with the Arri 435 Advanced or Extreme that would previously have
required a Mitchell camera.
Additionally, the crystal clear flicker-free video assist and huge range of available lenses make the 435 a very popular effects camera.
