The video frame overlay allows directors and DOFPs to view
directly on the video assist monitor the current frame position of the rig. The
frame count is continuously shown both during shooting and browsing or
previewing.
This is very useful for quickly locating and correcting
problems in the scene, such as lens flares or the move. It is also useful
for recording the video assist for matching moves later, for editing and for
previsulisation.
