Vital for any motion control move that needs to be synchronised with video playback or a soundtrack, such as music promos, time code readers do just that, read time code, from the video tape or sound track. The readers are programmed with a pre-set time code, entered by the user. When the time code coming from the sound track matches the pre-set, the reader generates a pulse to Flair indicating it to start the motion control move, so that it matches the soundtrack perfectly, especially for multiple pass moves.
