Mark Roberts Motion Control systems can output the exact camera position and orientation, in real-time for any application where computer graphics backgrounds or foregrounds need to be generated such as virtual studios or real-time previsualisation. In fact, Mark Roberts Motion Control’s systems were used in the development of the original virtual studios due to their accuracy and versatility. Using the real-time XYZ output hardware, positions for the camera including roll, zoom and focus are exported 50 or 60 times a second (PAL/NTSC) fully synchronised to incoming video fields, allowing the CGI workstations to generate the graphics.
